I was raised in Tam Điệp, right here in Ninh Bình province, where my family still lives. After moving to Hà Nội to attend university, I received my degree in English Language Education from the University of Languages & International Studies (ULIS) in 2013. I then began my English teaching career at a language center in Hanoi. I've been very lucky to have only one employer for my entire career up till now, and that employer fostered my growth as an educator, trusting me to perform in every academic role imaginable, from teaching to teacher training, from curriculum management to teacher management. Since high school in Tam Điệp, my dream has been to bring effective English language learning to my home province and run my own English center, and that is what inspired me to open Tràng An English Center. English can open up a world of possibilities, as it has done for me, and now I hope to inspire the students of Ninh Bình to follow their dreams wherever they may lead.

Beginning with my training in 2008, I immediately fell in love with teaching English. My teaching career began at a small center in a suburb of Barcelona that was closely tied to its local community, where I knew all of the students' and parents' faces, and most of their names - and they knew me. Teaching then brought me to Hanoi in 2011 and I was amazed by how different Vietnamese students were from those in the west. My teaching career has now spanned more than ten years and just as many roles. I've taught young learners, teens and professionals. I've prepared students for many exams, focusing on IELTS test preparation since 2012. And I've taken on several management positions and consulted on English education policies and procedures for some of the biggest companies in Vietnam. Now I have decided to return to my teaching roots. At Tràng An English Center I will be able to focus all of my efforts on the success of our students, and I hope to become an integral part of the community here, in the heart of beautiful Vietnam.
